Benson Municipal Airport is now a full-service, general aviation airport. Southwestern Aviation, our first fixed base operator, provides AVGAS and Jet A fuel, car rental, flight training, aircraft rental and aircraft sales. Call John or Nancy Martin @ 586-3262.
The airport is located 3 miles Northwest of the City. To visit the airport, drive north on Ocotillo for 1 mile past the interstate, then turn left on Aviation Drive 3.2 miles.
For our pilots, the airport sits at 3820' MSL; the asphalt runway (10/28) is 4000' x 75'; the airport has a full complement of lights, to include REILS, MIRLS and PAPI; use UNICOM 122.8 for communications and lighting control.
